Dogs are better pets than cats!

This week at school I did same persuasive writing.

This is it...

I strongly believe dogs would make better pets because they don't kill as many native animals and dogs. They stick right by you but cats do not.  And cats now will attack, you and dogs are less likely to.

Dogs help blind people and cats do not.  And I like dogs because they play with me and anyone.

And they keep you safe from intruders.

In conclusion that is why I think dogs are better than cats.

Last week we went on camp and we went to Hanmer Springs and I reckon it's good because there was quite good that happens with like good and they were they were heaters in there and the first date too many I did and some other people we did mountain biking it was like 2 hours it wasn't too long and what I reckon was fun and there was also a pump track in them like in the middle and then we had a race and I won not to brag but I reckon it would be good to do it again and then didn't we had dinner there and then that we went to bed and then the next morning we Did orienteering and I reckon it was quite good we walked around quite a we were but it wasn't too bad we only got 575 points which is quite good still person the person that with the most points had 900 somethin And after we did the orienteering we did the the tree climbing And the highest tree was 15 m which isn't too high but some people were a bit scared to do it I finished it twice and I Would want to do it again and I want to go back to Hanmer Springs and after that we went to super bowling in the pool and then the next day we're not gonna kill him and then we went to a lolly shop and then after that we practically lift after a while

Visual Art

This term we have been doing painting for art.  We designed a character on the computer that looked like us.  Then we drew it bigger on paper. Last we painted it.  My picture doesn't really look like me though because I didn't put freckles on.  I liked making it.

We got to dress up as characters from the book The Mines Afire. This book is about the mine explosion that happened there a long time ago. Levi was Dr Morris.  I was a Miner. 

My favourite part was at the actual mine site and learning all of the history.  I didn't really like going to the cemetery though because it was too sad.
